Each piece crafted in our Heritage Studio takes days — sometimes weeks — of painstaking handwork. We stand fully behind the quality and authenticity of every creation. Our refund policy is designed to be transparent and protective of both your investment and the irreplaceable labour of our artisans.
Important: Please Record Your Unboxing
Because our pieces are shipped insured and triple-packed, we require a continuous, unedited unboxing video as proof for any transit damage claims. Without this evidence, we are unable to raise a claim with the courier or process a replacement. We strongly urge every customer to record their unboxing from the moment they receive the parcel.
Returns
We accept returns only in the following circumstances:
- ◆The piece received is significantly damaged in transit (unboxing video required).
- ◆You received the wrong item — i.e., a piece that does not match your confirmed order.
You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery via email at jatanshreehandicraft@gmail.com with your order number and unboxing video.
Refund Process
Once we receive your return, our craftsmen inspect the piece within 2 working days.
We will email you the outcome of the inspection — approval or rejection — with a clear reason.
Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 working days back to your original payment method.
Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for return or refund:
- ◆Customized, personalized, or bespoke commission pieces.
- ◆Items purchased during a sale, discount, or promotional event.
- ◆Pieces showing minor, natural variations in enamel colour or surface texture — these are inherent to authentic handcrafted Meenakari and are a mark of its genuineness.
- ◆Any item that has been altered, repaired, or treated after delivery.
Exchange & Store Credit
In eligible cases where a refund is not possible, we are happy to offer an exchange for another piece of equal value from our collection, or store credit that can be applied to a future order. We believe every patron should leave our studio — physical or digital — completely satisfied.
